School of Earth and Environment (SEE) Scholarships

Eligibility Applicants must first hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) of an academic place for a SEE Masters degree for the academic year commencing September 2013
How are they awarded? Academic achievement
Relevant work or voluntary experience will also be taken into account
How much are they worth? The awards* range from £6,000 for UK/EU students to £14,800 for International students (see below for further details)
*Recipients of a SEE Scholarship will have the award amount deducted from their tuition fee – the award cannot be used on conjunction with any other full fee Scholarship
How many are available? There are eight SEE Scholarships available across our programmes;
2 x £14,800 awards for full time International fee paying students (applicable for all SEE Masters Programmes)
4 x £6,000 awards for full time UK/EU fee paying students – applicable to the following MSc Sustainability Specialisms only;

Ecological EconomicsEnvironment and DevelopmentBusiness, Environment and Corporate ResponsibilityEnvironmental Politics and PolicyClimate Change
1 x £6,000 award for full time UK/EU fee paying students – applicable to the

MSc Engineering Geology programme only 
1 x £6,000 award for full time UK/EU fee paying students – applicable to the

MRes Climate and Atmospheric Science programme only 

How to apply Complete a SEE Scholarship Application form (download here) and submit via email by Friday 31st May 2013. All applications will be acknowledged with an automated receipt.
Successful applicants will be notified via email by Friday 29th June 2013

The above Scholarships are separate to the UK/EU industry awards available for the MSc Structural Geology with GeophysicsMSc Exploration Geophysics and MSc Engineering Geology Programmes – see the individual programme pages for information on the industry awards.
